Strukton uses the privacy statement below to guarantee the privacy of applicants. When collecting and processing applicants’ personal data, Strukton follows the relevant guidelines and regulations, including the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act. This privacy statement is intended to inform applicants about the way in which Strukton collects and processes applicants’ data and applies to all recruitment and selection procedures at Strukton.

Purpose of collection and processing

The information entered by the applicant in the (digital) application form and the website is exclusively used by Strukton to determine whether the applicant is suitable for a position within Strukton. The data will not be used for any other reason and/or stored for different purposes. In order to make an appropriate selection from the applicants for the right vacancies, the recruitment and selection process at Strukton consists, amongst other things, of the comparison of the applicant’s data with the vacancy/vacancies and the relevant qualifications, to contact applicants for further introduction and/or to schedule an interview and possibly, if relevant, for contacting provided references and/or training institutes and for passing on information to applicants about other vacancies for which the applicant may be suitable.

“Processing” of personal data means the collection, recording, structuring, storage, adaptation, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, combination, linking as well as the restriction, erasure or destruction of data in the context of the recruitment and selection procedure.

The personal data of the applicant is in the first instance collected by completing the digital application form by the applicant. After that, personal data can also be collected through personal and/or telephone contact with the applicant, references and/or training institutes or further written information provision.

The personal data is only provided to those, including third parties, who are charged with or manage the recruitment and selection activities within Strukton or who are necessarily involved in such.

Strukton shall not provide the data of applicants to third parties unless it obliged to do so by law.

What data is collected?

Strukton only collects data that is relevant for the recruitment and selection procedure. This data includes in any event the name and contact details (telephone number and email address) of the applicant. The education, attended training, internships and the employment history of the applicant may also be relevant.

If this is necessary for the position, applicants can be required to take part in an assessment. In that case, the examining doctor, psychologist or the person charged with the assessment are only provided with the personal data required for the examination or the assessment.

Data storage

Strukton stores the data of the applicants during the recruitment and selection procedure. After the procedure, Strukton shall store the data for the period for which the applicant has given permission. During the recruitment and selection procedure, the applicant must indicate whether Strukton may approach the applicant for future vacancies. If the applicant has given permission for this, the data of the relevant applicant is kept for 1 year. If the applicant does not give permission for this, the data of the applicant will be removed four weeks after completion of the application procedure.

The rights of the applicant

The applicant has the right to access to his or her personal data as stored by Strukton. Strukton allows access to the data of applicants on written request. The applicant also has the right to request Strukton to correct, supplement or remove his or her data. Strukton will honour this request of the applicant provided this is relevant for the application procedure.
